Comparing 2017 Lincoln MKX to 2017 Cadillac XT5

Introduced last fall and available earlier this year, the Cadillac XT5 replaces the SRX. Compared to its predecessor, XT5 is lighter, off ers more rear leg room and reclining rear seats. XT5 is powered by a 310-horsepower 3.6L V6 engine that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Among the noteworthy features found on the XT5 is a Rear Camera Mirror System. The all-new Cadillac XT5 is powered by a highly sophisticated and technologically advanced 3.6L engine that delivers 310 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of torque.
 
Lincoln Reality:
The standard 3.7L Ti-VCT V6 in Lincoln MKX is on par with the Cadillac V6. It delivers 303 horsepower and 278 lb.-ft. of torque. For those who prefer more power, the available 2.7L GTDI V6 in Lincoln MKX delivers 25 more horsepower and over 100 lb.-ft. more torque(2).
